Useful short reference on the difference between DT_DATE, DT_DBDATE and DT_DBTIMESTAMP. In short, use DT_DATE to omit time, DT_DBDATE if you want time but are not worried about time precision, DT_DBTIMESTAMP if you do want time precision, or if you want a method that uses ISO incoming format YYYY-MM-DD regardless of locale.
